Trip To the Winery

Last Sunday we took the service crew (Servers and Bartenders) to the Sokol Blosser Winery for a day of fun and wine education. Our host "Lee" did a wonderful job entertaining and touring the group. For many it was the first time they had visited an actual winery and vineyard. Click on the pictures to see a larger picture.

The day was beautiful and the wine was good.

Everyone is still standing and enjoying the wine and cheese and meat and the beautiful weather.
Lee gets his chance in the cellar with some Heather, Rina, Stephanie, Sara and Amanda. (In that order left to right)
Cold Under Ground Cave for tasting.
Things finished with a nice lunch, more wine and some additional fun.
All in all it was a very nice day. Rosy and I left early and the bus took the staff back to the restaurant where they had to figure out who was going to work for the rest of the night.

Beautiful Morning

Yesterday (Sunday I came downstairs and as I was going into the kitchen I looked out of the Dining room Window and saw what a beautiful day it was. There was so much green. The pond was beautiful the trees behind the house were beautiful and the trees and bushes in the side yard of our home were beautiful.

Another out of the Dining Room Window
I don't know when the "Green" happened? It just seemed to appear over night.
Yet another out of the dining room window

I thought you might like to see.

Still another out of the dining room window
Here is the pond

This is from the deck looking at the back yard, so to speak.

And another from the deck

And one more looking up the stream
Sometimes Oregon isn't such a bad place. I don't like the rain and cold
but when it's pretty it can really be pretty.

Yesterday was a pretty day.
I hope you have a pretty day where ever you are.
